Hi Sue:
Tried this once, good flavor but a little coarse textured.
I may try it next time on the French bread cycle, for a little finer texture,
other than that we liked it just fine.
This should make an excellent bread for French Toast -- Next time.
Mine was made in OSTER Bread Machine - 1 1/2 lb loaf # 1 Setting.

SALLY LUNN BREAD
1 POUND LOAF
3 1/2 Tbs butter, softened
1 lg egg
1/4 cup + 1 Tbs warm milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups bread flour
3 Tbs sugar
1/2 tsp active dry yeast
------------------------------------------------
1 1/2 POUND LOAF
1/2 cup warm water
5 1/2 Tbs butter
2 lg eggs
1/4 cup + 1 Tbs warm milk
1 tsp salt
3 cups bread flour
4 Tbs sugar
1 tsp active dry yeast

Add ingredients to your bread machine pan in order given.
Suggestion: Before adding the yeast, make a slight depression in the flour then add the yeast.
SETTING: 1 or 1 1/2 pound loaf White Bread - Regular Crust

ENJOY! j
