Makes: a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread

• 1 1/8 cups water
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 1/2 tsp. salt
• 3 cups bread flour
• 4 tablespoons dried buttermilk powder
• 2 1/2 teaspoons (1 pkg.) active dry yeast

1. Just before you retire for the evening, put water, honey, butter, salt, flour, buttermilk powder and yeast into bread machine in that order, unless your machine recommends differently. Set your machine on white bread and light crust. Use the delayed timer.

Recipe Note: Because you are using buttermilk powder instead of fresh buttermilk it is safe to use the delayed timer, just do not let the buttermilk powder, or yeast, come in contact with the water. You can wake up to the smell and taste of fresh buttermilk bread in the morning
