  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 quart milk, scalded
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 pint whipping or coffee cream
  • 8 bananas, mashed very fine

Beat eggs. Mix sugar, flour, and salt; add to eggs. Add scalded milk to egg mixture. Cook in double boiler, stirring constantly, until mixture coats a silver spoon. Cool. Add vanilla, cream and bananas. Freeze in ice cream freezer.
