Makes 8-10 servings

• Bottom layer:

• 2 cups brownie mix

• 1 egg

• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

• 1/4 cup water

• 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips

• Topping:

• 1/2 cup brown sugar

• 2 tablespoons baking cocoa

• 3/4 cup boiling water

1. Combine all bottom layer ingredients in a bowl. Spread batter in greased 2 1/2 to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.




2. Mix together topping ingredients, completely dissolving sugar and cocoa in boiling water. Pour over batter. Cover and cook on high heat 2 hours.




3. Turn off slow cooker and allow to sit in slow cooker 30 minutes.




4. Spoon into bowls and serve with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and chopped nuts.
