This recipe is straight from Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Thanks to Eric for showing me how to make it while frying chicken and listening to practice times on his scanner.

  • 1/2 cup minced onion

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 lemon slices

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • Dash of salt and pepper

  • Hot sauce (optional)

  1. Brown onion and garlic in butter in a skillet.

  2. Reduce heat and squeeze lemon juice into mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Let cool for a few minutes to thicken some.

  3. Drizzle over fried chicken wings, etc.
