Rice Krispies Treats 3 tablespoons margarine 1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows 6 cups Rice Krispies® cereal Vegetable cooking spray
1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows andstir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Add Rice Krispies® cereal. Stir until well coated.
3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool.
Marshmallow Creme Directions: Melt margarine in large saucepanover low heat. Add 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme and stir until smooth. Cook and stir constantly 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat. Continue as directed in steps 2 and 3.
Microwave Directions: Microwave margarine and marshmallows at HIGH2 minutes in microwave-safe bowl. Stir to combine. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute longer. Stir until smooth. Add cereal.
