this is a Shepards Pie recipe I use.
Brown 1 pound hamburger and a small chopped onion. Drain grease really well and set aside to cool.
Cook potatoes while meat is cooling. Mash with little butter and milk.
When meat is cooled off add one egg and mix together.
Place meat in 9 inch uncooked pie crust add slices of velveeta cheese to cover the top of the meat. Cover cheese generously with mashed potatoes, score top with a fork.
Bake 350 degrees for about 1 hour until top is nicely browned.
I make a brown gravy and serve with this. Cauliflower and cheese also served with it is really good. but can use any veggies. |
