Hi there I have been freezing tomatoes this way for a number of years. I just wash the tomatoes really well cut out the stem end and any bruises or scabs. Then I put them in medium size freezer bags and freeze. When I need them then i just run them under the water tap with warm water and the peel slides right off then I just cook them up and add them to my stews and sauces. Sometimes I thaw them a little so I can chop them up or I cook them seperate for a while and then puree them. Hope you find this as convenient as I have Susan
