2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup Gold Medal Wondra Flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Heat oven to 425 degrees F (hot). Heavily grease 6 deep custard cups* or 8 muffin cups.
Beat eggs slightly; add milk, Wondra and salt. Stir with fork just until smooth. DO NOT OVERBEAT. Fill greased custard cups 1/2 full or muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 40-45 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Remove from cups immediately and serve.
*Deep glass cups make higher popovers that are easier to remove after baking.
Makes 6 to 8 popovers
