Sometimes we have request from our clients in(Interior Design) to have soiled leather cleaned. The professional cleaner gave me this tip. Just apply fingernail polish remover with a clean white cloth. It will remove about anything. Water is not really good for leather. You can use a leather polish after this.I have used it on my White leather recliner that had newspaper ink from reading the paper. It took it all out. If it's colored leather try it on a under side to see the results first. Hope this works for you.
All the Best,
Claudette
