Well it happened last night. My teen does not do dishes .... never she does a lot of other things but not dishes. we did not have a dishwasher till 2 yrs ago too, so she is REALLY not familar with them.

Last night i was out and grandma said "Selah do you know how to run this thing?" "no but i can figure it out" (i wonder where she got that line???)
Anyway the dishwasher had not been run becuase i was out of dishewasher soap. a friend brought me some in trade for a stained glass frame(kidding i was out and told her to bring some when she came :) and i had not gotten it in the kitchen yet.

so now you've guessed it Selah filled the cup with DAWN ULTRA!! fortunalty they could not get it to RUN as a plasitc lid was in the way. WEll what to do?? the liquid soap was not in the dishwasher as far down as it could get ... i could not wipe it all out.

What should i have done (besides strangle everyone)? this MUST be common .... i used salt and oil to help disipate the suds and removed the arms that would help to circulate the suds and sat and filled swsabbed then drained for about an hour then decided that the real soap would have a defoaming agentso add some and now am running a regular load and still have suds but not near as many ....

Help!! Will it ever disapate??
