POPEYE'S BISCUITS (copycat recipe) Source: Renee Waddell
They taste just like the restuarant. Fluffy and light and so easy to make.
2 cups Bisquik baking mix 1/2 cup light sour cream 1/2 cup Sprite (lemon-lime soda pop) melted butter (for tops)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Mix Bisquick and sourcream with pastry blender. Stir in Sprite. Pat dough out lightly on a floured surface.
Cut out biscuits and place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
Brush melted butter and enjoy.
