This was a special meal I cooked for my husband and I on the Fourth,,it was fabulous: 1 lb halibut filet 1 stick butter 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 Tbl worcestershire 2 tsp dry mustard 1 bay leaf Salsa: 1 medium tomato - chopped 1/4 red onion, chopped 1 small jalapeno, diced 2 Tbl balsamic vinegar Fresh basil leaves ( 8-10) 1 Tbl olive oil
Melt butter and add remaining basting ingredients until smell of bay leaf permeates the room. Grill halibut just until it flakes, basting. Serve with combined salsa ingredients on the side....Let me know how you like it.
