Here is an easy recipe that I have made many times that might be close to what you are looking for.

Sour Cream Cherry Coffeecake

1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
3 eggs
1/4 C. water
1 can cherry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 deg.

Mix together the sour cream, eggs and water. Combine with the cake mix. Spread in jelly roll pan that has been sprayed with PAM. Drop pie filling over batter. Bake 30-40 min. Let cool in pan. Make powdered sugar glaze and drizzle over cooled cake.
