Wedding Cake
1 C butter, softened 3 C white sugar 7 eggs 1 T vanilla 3 C flour 1/4 t baking soda 1/4 t baking powder 1 C sour cream
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees...Grease a 19x13 inch pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar..Beat in the eggs, one at a time and mixing well. Then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, soda, powder and add to creamed mixture and mix until all flour is absorbed. Finally stir in sour cream..Mix well for 2 minutes till smooth. Pour the batter in prepared pan.
3. Bake for 45-60 minutes.
Wedding Frosting
1 C butter 1 C shortening 1/2 C milk 2t clear vanilla extract 8 C confectioners sugar
Cream butter and shortening till smooth. Gradually add sugar, milk and vanilla till smooth and frost!
