UMMMM Sugar cookies. One of my faves. I always enjoyed the simple icing my mother used. Its so easy, we kids used to make it all the time. It also kept the cookies soft when they were frosted in advance and left in a tightly covered container. All we ever did was put a little milk in a bowl, add a dash of vanilla and stir in powdered sugar. Vary the amount of milk and powdered sugar to vary the consistancy of the frosting. this probably isn't a new recipe for anyone, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
