CHOCOLATE WEDDING CAKEThis is the recipe for the chocolate wedding cakes I make. Everyone likes it,
it's real moist and fudgy.
1 Duncan Hines Devils Food Cake mix
use the ingredients on the label PLUS:
1 cup sour cream
1 whole egg
1 cup flour
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
Mix until smooth, pour into prepared pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F. Takes a bit longer to bake, but I'm not sure of the time.
This recipe makes about 7 1/2 to 8 cups batter.
For frosting, I use the icing off the Hersheys Cocoa can.
