Angel Wings (chrucciki)
Serves 10
6 egg yolks 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbl. sour cream 1 jigger whiskey ( or 1 tsp. vanilla) 2 cups flour
Beat together egg yolks, salt,sour cream and whiskey or vanilla. Add flour and continue beating until dough is smooth. Add more flour if dough is too soft. Roll out very thin and cut into 2 inch strips, then diagonally into 2 inch lengths. Cut a slit in the center and slip one end through the slit ( like a knot). Fry in deep fat until light brown ( 2-3 inches of hot oil in heavy skillet).Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
