DEVILISH MARINADE FOR SHORT RIBS
1/2 cup finely chopped celery 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 3 tablespoons French's Worcestershire Sauce 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 teaspoons French's Prepared Mustard
Combine ingredients and pour over trimmed short ribs.* Marinate overnight in refrigerator.
TO COOK THE SHORT RIBS: Bake, short ribs covered, in marinade at 350 degrees F for 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
*Good on round steak or chuck roast, too. Marinate and bake, covered, at 350 degrees F until tender.
