MENU - SKILLET CHICKEN SPAGHETTI, GREEN BEANS WITH GARLIC BUTTER, HERB BUTTER BREAD

MENU PREPARATION PLAN:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Prepare Skillet Chicken Spaghetti.
3. Prepare Green Beans with Garlic Butter. While almonds and garlic cook, prepare bread.
4. Bake bread just before serving,

SKILLET CHICKEN SPAGHETTI

1/4 lb. spicy Italian sausage links, sliced
4 small chicken thighs, skinned
1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
5 oz. uncooked spaghetti, broken in thirds
1 cup water
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Del Monte Stewed Tomatoes, cut up
1 (8 oz.) can Del Monte Tomato Sauce
10 mushrooms, sliced
2 stalks celery sliced

In skillet, cook sausage 3 minutes.

Add chicken. Sprinkle with oregano; salt and pepper to taste. When chicken is browned, drain.

Add spaghetti and 1 cup water. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook 17 minutes over medium heat or until chicken and spaghetti are cooked.

GREEN BEANS WITH GARUC BUTTER

1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) can Del Monte Cut Green Beans, drained

In skillet, toast almonds with butter and garlic. Add beans; heat through.

HERB BUTTER BREAD
Combine 2 Tbsp. softened butter with 1/2 tsp. dried chopped basil.
Spread over 4 slices French bread.
Bake in 450 degree F oven about 3 minutes.

Makes 4 servings
