We are also having a wedding in October on the beach. I am having mine at night.
For the dinner the night before we are having:
Grilled salmon and steak kabobs with colorful veggies. Marinate the salmon in butter seasoning and small amounts of lemon juice. The steak in salt and Italian dressing. The veggies in olive oil garlic salt and pepper.
People can make their own kabobs just lay out all the ingredients and let them make them up or have them pre made and ready to grill.
I am also serving a chocolate fondue with lots of fruits.
For the wedding we are having: chicken fingers (Walmart and Sam's have great party trays) different salads (pasta, potato) eggrolls cheese tray egg salad croissants sub slices wings
All finger foods; easy to serve, easy to clean and not that expensive. I suggest Sam's or Costco for bulk.
For drinks I am serving champagne, beer, wine, and one signature cocktail.
The food will cost me about $400 and the drinks including coke and water all that stuff too was around $400 as well.
Hope it helps. |
