Butterscotch Cheesecake Bars |

1 (12 ounce) package 1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (14 ounce can) 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees 1. In sauce pan melt morsels and butter, stir in crumbs and nuts. 2. Press half of the mixture firmly onto the bottom of a greased 13 by 9 inch pan. 3. In large mixing bowl beat cheese until fluffy. Beat in condenced milk, vanilla and egg; mix well. 4. Pour into pan. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. 5.
