Recipe: Jiffy Coffee Cake (using Jiffy Baking Mix)

I went grocery shopping this morning and coincidentally bought a box of Jiffy mix. Completely forgot I had it until I opened the cupboard this evening.
On the side of the box was the recipe you wanted!
Here it is:

COFFEE CAKE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Prepare the muffin recipe on the box (recipe follows) and spread into prepared(greased) 8-inch square pan.

Cover the top of the muffin batter with the following:
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. Jiffy Baking Mix
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. soft butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Blend the above ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.

Bake 25-30 minutes. Serve warm.

MUFFINS

2 cups Jiffy Baking Mix
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 egg (slightly beaten)

2 Tbsp. melted shortening.
Combine all ingredients. Stir well. Batter will be lumpy.

Use as above for COFFEE CAKE.
