TIPS FOR USING SOYMILK

Pour soymilk over your breakfast cereal.

Use soymilk in shakes, coffee, and other beverages.

Substitute soymilk for cow's milk in almost any recipe. You won't notice a difference in taste when substituting soymilk in most baked goods, but you might in sauces and creamy items that do not have many spices.

Experiment with flavors. While plain soymilk may be best for many cream soups, vanilla soymilk may add a subtle sweetness to a winter squash soup. Chocolate soymilk may be the perfect liquid to turn chocolate cake into double chocolate cake!

If using soymilk to prepare a packaged instant pudding mix, use only half the suggested amount of milk or the pudding will not set.

Soymilk does not taste exactly like cow's milk. Give yourself some time to adjust to the difference, and you may find that you really enjoy - even prefer - soymilk.
