Recipe(tried): Mexican Cheese Dip recipes (2)

Not being familiar with Pancho's it's hard to say if these are similar...they
are however very good recipes for cheese dip. Hope it helps


HOT CHEESE DIP
2 packages (8 ounces) sharp Cheddar cheese
1 package (8 ounces) Jalapeno pepper cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 cup beer
Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Boil for about 1-2 minutes. Pour hot cheese into a hollowed bread bowl

CHILE CON QUESO MEXICANO

6 Fresh green chiles, roasted, peeled, and cut in lenghwise slices
1 Onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons bacon grease
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 Large fresh tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
2-1/2 Cups shredded Monterey Jack or Longhorn cheese
Salt to taste
Saut chile and onion in bacon grease. Add garlic and cook until soft. Heat
until cheese melts
