ISO: What to add to yellow cake mix to make a spice cake

I have been unable to find a spice cake mix in any of the grocery stores in my area and wonder if anyone knows what I should add to a yellow or white cake mix to approximate the flavor of a spice cake. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
