Recipe(tried): Preacher's Cake

Preacher's Cake
I first ate this at a little country tea room. It was their most served dessert!

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp soda
dash salt
2 eggs beaten
1/2 c. nuts
1 20-0z can pineapple, not drained

Pour into a 9 x 13 greased and floured pan and bake at 350 degrees F 30 to 40 minutes

Topping:
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1/4 c. margarine
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
dash salt
1/2 c, chopped nuts.

Mix frosting/topping ingredients and spread over cooled cake.

Mix the cake ingredients by hand!!!!
