Cook Strawberries & Raspberries until soft about 10 min. ( you can add currants or cherries ) puree
Bring to a boil 2 cups of the juice add sugar to taste 1/8 tsp salt. add 2 to 2 1/2 tblsp. tapioca
Cook this mixture in a double boiler *over* not in hot water for 20 min. Stir until it thickens. Pour into serving dishes. Chill. Serve really cold with a heavy cream
