Hi Carol, Here is my family's favorite recipe for scones. Hope You like it: Orange-Raisin Scones 1 3/4 all purpose flour 3 tablesoopns sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use less, just a pinch) 5 Tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces 1/2 cup raisins 6 tablespoons half and half 1 large egg, beaten to blend 2 tablespoon grated orange peel Preheat oven to 400F. Spray baking sheet with vegetable oil spray. Strir flour,sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl to blend. Add butter and rub with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add raisins, half and half, egg and orange peel and stir just until mixture begins to hold together. Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead gently 2 minutes. Pat out dough to 1/2-inch thick round. Cut into 8-10 wedges.Bake until golden brown, about 14 minutes. Enjoy
