A friend passed on this recipe. It has an assertive combo of flavors, but if you enjoy these flavors, give it a try. It's good.
Baked portobello mushrooms mediterranean
4 (or as many as you want) large portobelloes, stems removed, laid cap side down in a baking dish.
Spread a generous dollop of garlic paste on each mushroom (paste is sold in tubes, in most large grocery stores)
Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese on each mushroom/
Sprinkle coarsly chopped walnuts on each mushroom.
Drizzle with a little olive oil.
Pour a 1/4 to 1/2 " white wine in bottom of baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. Enjoy.
