Thaks to Joe and Janet. According to my father, his mother would pare and core an apple. Fill it with raisins, etc. Roll the apple in dough, place them in a lg can with holes punched in the bottom then place the can over her lg tea kettle to steam them. He cannot remember what type of dough she used and how long she cooked them for. So long for now from the great Northwest City of Spokane,Washington
