Alfredo Sauce without guilt
Cook 8 ozs fettucini according to package directions; drain and keep warm. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan cook 1/2 cup chopped red sweet pepper and 1 clove garlic, minced, in 1 tablespoon margarine till tender. Add 1/2 of and 8oz package of fat-free cream cheese, cut up, and 3/4 cup evaporated skim milk, 1/2 cup frozen peas, 2tablespoons finely shredded parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1/8 treaspoon mace or nutmeg.
