MIX LIKE PIE DOUGH. BEAT EGG WELL AND ADD TO BAKING POWDER AND SALT. CUT IN BUTTER AND MOISTEN WITH MILK. ROLL AND CUT INTO SQUARES. PLACE PARED AND CORED APPLE IN CENTER OF DOUGH. FILL WITH RAISINS, BROWN SUGAR, ETC. DOT WITH A LITTLE
BUTTER. WRAP AND SEAL DOUGH AROUND APPLES. STEAM COVERED UNTIL THEY ARE DONE ( 1 HR ) DO NOT LIFT LID UNTIL THEY ARE DONE AS THIS WILL MAKE DOUGH TOUGH
