Hi Carrie:

Try This:

CARNE ASADA (Sp for: grilled meats)
For 2 - 3 lbs Steak.

Juice of 4 limes.
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste.
4 Tbs Butter
2 Tbs Oil

Squeeze the lime juice over the steaks.
Then rub minced garlic into the meat.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Let marinate for 30 minutes or more.

Heat the grill or charcoals (until you can hold your hand for no longer than a count of 4 - 4 inches above the charcoals)

Meanwhile in a saucepan melt the butter.

Remove pan from the stove and stir in the oil.

Coat each steak with the butter/oil mixture.

Grill the steak - as you like it.

Serve with warm tortillas, and a good salsa.
