Pickled Garlic

ü l vinegar (I'm presuming the l means liter..?)
Õ l water
20 pepper corns
20 pc. allspice (whole)
4 bay leaves
2 cloves
4 tbsp. sugar
500g garlic

Boil everything except garlic for 5 minutes. Add garlic and heat
until it starts boiling again, then fill it into glasses, close
and keep for at least 4 days before serving.
