2 Tbsp Oil
1/2 C Onion -- Chopped
1 Tbsp Garlic -- Minced
1 Tbsp Cumin
1/2 Lb Ground Turkey
1 Lb Turkey Breast -- Cut In 1/4" Cubes
1/3 C Pearl Barley
1 Can Garbpnzo, 15 Oz. -- Drained And Rinsed
2 Jalapeno Chile Pepper -- Minced
3 C Chicken Broth
1/2 Tsp Marjoram
1/4 Tsp Savory
2 Tsp Arrowroot
Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
1/2 Lb Jack Cheese
1/4 C Scallion -- Sliced
Heat oil in large heavy skillet over low heat. Add onion and garlic and saute, stirring, for 5 minutes. Stir in cumin and cook the mixture, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Add ground turkey and cubed turkey. Increase heat to medium and cook until no longer pink.
Add the barley, garbanzo beans, jalapeno, chicken broth, marjaram and savory and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes covered. stirring occassionally. Remove cover and cook another 15 minutes.
Mix arrowroot in 1/4 cup of water and stir mixture into chili. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve chili topped with shredded cheese and scallions.

1 Tbsp Oil
1 Onion -- Chopped
1/2 Lb Chicken -- Ground (Or Turkey)
1/4 C Masa Harina -- (Corn flour)
4 Oz Green Chili Peppers (Mild) -- Diced
4 C Chicken Broth -- Or Vegetable
19 Oz Cannellini Beans -- Rinsed And Drained
1 C Frozen Corn Kernels
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
1/2 Tsp Marjoram
Saute onions in oil until translucent. Add chicken and cook throughly. Add Masa harina, stir, add broth and spices, heat to boiling. Add beans and corn, bring to a boil, and serve.

NOTES : 19 oz = 1 can Cannellini Beans.
Can substiture turkey for chicken.
