If you like Gyoza or potstickers, this is a wonderful dipping sauce. The kind you wake up in the middle of the night just to dip your finger in. Mmmmmmm!

GYOZA SAUCE

1/3 c. tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/3 c. rice vinegar
1/3 c . soy sauce
1/4 c. sugar or light corn syrup
1 1/2 t. sesame oil
1 T. fresh garlic, minced
1 T. chili oil
1/2 t. Szechwan peppercorns
2 -3 green onions, chopped

Simply combine all of the ingredients in your blender or food processor container. Blend or process on high speed until the sauce is smooth. Pour the sauce in a small serving bowl and top with a couple of drops of chili oil (if desiring a hotter sauce) and chopped green onions. Serve with hot gyoza.
This sauce will keep for several weeks. Place in a covered jar and refrigerate.
