Cinnamon Apple Rings
18 tart apples
6 cups sugar
3 cups water
1 9-oz pkg red cinanmon candies
3 drops red food color
Cut cored, peeled apples in rings.
Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color. Bring to a boil;
boil 3 minutes.
Add apples to syrup; cook until transparent.
Pack in hot jars. Cover with syrup. Adjust lids. Process in boiling
water bath for 25 minutes.
