Hi everyone! What a wonderful discovery, having given up on a formerly beloved similar site I could never get through to :). Thanks to the creator of this board. I want the much-touted recipe for Blackout Cake from Molly O'Neill's "New York Cookbook" and wonder if anyone would be willing to share it if you have it. I love the very heavy-crumbed cake we get here in restaurants (not flourless), *extremely* chocolatey, with what must be (thick) buttercream frosting and characterized by shards of chocolate sticking out of each piece ... also called Suicide Cake. On the other board, one who posted fabulous recipes said this is *the* one, but I can't get on there any more and this will be my new home.
