Sorry, keeping too much info in my head!!! No, absolutely not, the starter does not go in frig as you need the fermentation to happen. The end results was wonderful. Sugar coating the pan really adds a great touch. I will say, I only used (1) loaf pan, should have used (2) the bread was probably heavier than needed to be. I can't compare the flavor to anything I've ever tasted, just very good. Good luck. Let me know if I can help further, with my limited experience, but I'll try.
