SIMPLE SUMMER STRAWBERRY DELIGHT CAKE
1 box white or vanilla cake mix 1 qt. strawberries 1/2 c. sugar 1 container Cool Whip
Prepare cake mix as directed. Slice strawberries, sprinkle with sugar. Use a toothpick to make small holes in baked cake. Drain strawberry juice in cake holes. Apply Cool Whip to cake as icing. Decorate cake with sliced strawberries. Enjoy!
KIM'S SUMMER STRAWBERRY CAKE
1 pkg. white cake mix 1 sm. box strawberry Jello 1/2 c. frozen strawberries, defrosted & squashed --ICING:-- 5 c. sifted powdered sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 c. frozen strawberries, defrosted
Make cake according to directions, adding Jello and strawberries. Mix icing ingredients in mixer until smooth. Garnish top of cake with fresh strawberry halves.
SUMMER SIZZLER CAKE
1 lg. box Jello (we like red) 1 Duncan Hines white cake mix (prepared as directed) Cool Whip
Prepare jello as directed but omit the cold water do not refrigerate let set at room temperature. Bake cake using a 13 x 9 pan. Let cool. Poke holes in cake. Pour Jello over cake. Refrigerate at least two hours. Frost with Cool Whip before serving.
SUMMER DESSERT REFRIGERATOR CAKE
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello 1 lemon cake mix TOPPING: 1 env. whipped topping mix 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. lemon instant pudding mix 1 1/2 c. cold milk
Dissolve Jello in 3/4 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water. Set aside. Mix cake and bake as directed in 9 x 13 inch pan, cool cake 20-25 minutes. Pole deep holes through top of warm cake with meat fork. Space hole about 1 inch apart. Slowly pour gelatin into hole. Refrigerate cake while preparing topping. Topping: In a chilled deep bowl blend topping mix, instant pudding and cold milk. Beat until stiff 3-8 minutes. Immediately frost cake. Cake must be stored in refrigerator and served chilled.
SUMMER CAKE
1 lg. box Jello (any flavor, but red is best) 1 lg. Cool Whip 1 Duncan Hines white cake mix prepared as directed
Prepare Jello as directed, but omit the cold water. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Let set at room temperature. Bake cake, using a 9x13 inch pan. Let cool. Poke holes in cake. Pour Jello over cake and refrigerate at least two hours. Frost with Cool Whip before serving.
SUMMER CAKE
Bake a Betty Crocker lemon cake according to package directions. Let cool. Poke cake with fork to make holes in cake. Mix 1 package lime Jello with 3/4 cup hot water and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour Jello over cake. Mix 1 envelope Dream Whip according to package directions. Mix lemon instant pudding with 1 1/2 cups cold milk. Add pudding to Dream Whip. Put on top of cake and refrigerate.
SUMMER CAKE
1 pkg. fudge marble cake mix 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin 3/4 c. boiling water 1 tub creamy vanilla frosting 3 oz. softened cream cheese 2 tsp. lemon juice Fresh strawberries
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, set aside at room temperature. Prepare and bake cake as directed on package for 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool cake for 25 minutes. Poke deep holes through top of cake with fork. Slowly pour gelatin mixture over cooled cake. Set in refrigerator while preparing frosting. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and lemon juice until well blended. Stir in vanilla frosting. Spread on cake. Decorate with strawberries. Keep chilled. |
