what I've got are the last of our garden strawberries, sweet and red,
I would like to make the most of them.
I've also got some nice crumbs that I've blended from a brioche (with chocolate).
I'm thinking about soaking those crumbs in some kind of liqueur, layering with fresh strawberries ( I like them better uncooked or a combination, cooked, uncooked?) then topping with, of course, thick whipped cream.
Does this sound like a recipe that will work? What will give those bread crumbs body? Should they be cooked separately?

My daughter gets a bit anxious when I invent recipes, so i'm consulting
with the experts.:-)

Bear in mind, i've only got a corner store to shop at, (21 kms away at that) so any exotic ingredients will probably not be available. Muchas Gracias!
