I found this at Mr. Foods site. It looks good. The dressing is sweet & you could add the water chestnuts & other missing items.

Hot or cold, this is the answer for quick summer suppers!
Chinese Chicken and Noodles
Serves: 4 to 6

1 pound uncooked linguine
2 tablespoons peanut oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
2 cups cooked chicken chunks
4 scallions, chopped

Prepare the linguine according to the package directions; drain, rinse, and drain again. Set aside in a covered dish to keep warm. Heat the peanut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sesame seeds and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the seeds are golden brown. Reduce the heat to medium-low; add the vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, and chicken chunks and heat for about 2 minutes. Add to the linguine and toss until well combined. Sprinkle with the chopped scallions and serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve cold or rewarmed.

NOTE: Sesame seeds are readily available in either the supermarket spice or ethnic foods section.
