In the mean time oil about four dowel rods or wooden spoon handles, and stick
them in drawers leaving about 10 inches or so sticking out. Place clean paper
on floor.

When syurp reaches hard crack stage (when you dip a fork in, the syurp and
pick it up it will spinn a fine thread) take three or four forkd held together
or a whisk and dip in syurp move rapidly back and forth over spoon handles
hold whisk about 7 to 12 inches above handles. keep dipping and spinning.

When spoon is full, pick up from the bottom with oiled hands, a place on
clean flat surface, continue the above process until syrup is used up.

If syurp starts to get hard place pan in a bowl of hot water. This makes
a nice centerpice of Easter dinner shaped into a nest w/ colored Easter
eggs. Looks beautiful around a wedding cake. Have fun & enjoy.
