As a young boy in Atlantic, Iowa, my husband enjoyed his mother's Pickled Bing Cherries. She was never able to retrieve the recipe or remember it and now she is gone. We would be grateful for any suggestions! Ruth Benson

I haven't tried this recipe, but can recall others talking
about how good cherry olives are. Maybe this is the one.

Cherry Olives

cherries with or without stems
salt
vinegar
water

Pack cherries into jars. For each qt. add 1 Tbsp. salt (pickling I would think) 1 cup cold vinegar and fill the rest up with cold water. Then seal with sterilized lids. These are not processed. Store 2-3 weeks before serving.
