Recent studies have found that the greatest source of germs in the kitchen is the dishcloth, and even worse, the sponge. That dishcloth that you're wiping the counters with may be causing problems. Change dishcloths daily. Soak them in a solution with bleach to disinfect. Bleach is one of the best known disinfectants and fungicides. It will kill viruses associated with HIV, Hepatitis and the less scarry ones as well.
