I've just returned from a friend's cottage in the Czech countryside, where stinging-nettles, among other culinary wonders, abound. I am looking for a recipe for stinging-nettle soup, which is a specialty in this country. I've benn unable to locate a recipe here, so maybe someone can help?? By the way, I also learned this weekend that a big-leaved plant called dog ear, which often grows near stinging nettles, will take away their sting if rubbed directly on the "stung" area. It worked like a charm.
