Hi Betsy, Jim S. and the rest of the gang Well, wouldn't you know it - I was making red bean (and rice) over the weekend, rushing as usual and wound up putting 3 tablespoons of red pepper in the pot instead of 3 teaspoons. While it is GREAT for me, it really is too hot for 99% of the others. Any suggestions? I tried raw potatoes and sugar, but it really didn't cut it that well. I hate to throw out the 3 gals.
