I got some bread starter from an (ex)boyfriend's mother once. It had no flour in it, and to replenish it, you added instant potato flakes, sugar and water. To make the bread, you used the starter, self-rising flour, sugar and oil. I still have the recipe for the bread, but I don't know how to "start the starter." I would sure appreciate it if anyone could help me. I miss that bread (but not that boyfriend.) |
