GRAHAM MUFFINS
2 c. graham flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 c. sour milk
1/2 Tbsp. shortening
Sift flour with the sugar, salt and soda; turn the bran
back into it. Add the milk, gradually along with the well
beaten egg and melted shortening. Fill well greased muffin
tins about 2/3 full and bake in hot oven at 400 degrees to 425 degrees for 20
to 25 minutes.
